Adventure
Hollow Lantern
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure about exploring a foggy coastal town one puzzle at a time. The hand-drawn art does most of the heavy lifting, and the sound design makes you want to play with headphones. It leans into mood rather than jump scares.
The puzzles are fair, the kind where the answer feels obvious in hindsight. There's a built-in hint system that nudges rather than solves, which we think is the right call. Tapping to move and interact works well on touch, no clumsy inventory juggling.
It's short, maybe four hours, and that's fine. It never overstays its welcome, and the ending actually lands. Battery usage was low because so much of it is static scenes.
